For me this painting rings like a colorful journal entry. My View is one of my most personal original oil paintings, rooted in the drawings I made while living in Paris with my uncle’s family. From my bedroom window in the 16th arrondissement along Passy, I watched the Eiffel Tower rise gracefully among the blue-grey Mansard rooftops—a panorama that still fills me with awe. That time in Paris sparked a creative fire in me, and this Paris rooftop painting carries the vibrant memories of color and composition that shaped my work.
