The Garden Tomb is a meditation on the moment of stillness that precedes revelation. The painting depicts a rock-hewn chamber suffused with radiant light—brilliant, immersive, and charged with color. In this illumination, stone appears to shift, as if matter itself is on the threshold of change.

Working in oil, I approach the tomb not as a site of absence, but as a place of imminent transformation. The work reflects on resurrection as a universal promise: that what appears closed, finished, or inert may yet hold life in motion.

This painting is a visual prayer—an offering shaped by light, waiting, and the possibility of renewal.
