Tour Eiffel, oil on canvas, 50 x 36”

Tour Eiffel is my original abstract expressionist painting, created in 2011 after seeing Willem de Kooning’s retrospective at MoMA—a moment that deeply moved me. With limited resources, I laid gifted pre-stretched canvases on my kitchen floor and painted from the heart. The Eiffel Tower emerged playfully across the panels, its quirky silhouette and bold brushstrokes echoing “Bill’s” spirit. This large oil painting (48 x 44”) is both a tribute to my artistic “father” and a love letter to Paris.
